PASTIC SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDES TWO-DAY TRAINING WORKSHOP ON “RESEARCH TOOLS & TECHNIQUES USING SPSS”

ISLAMABAD, October 24, 2025 — The Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre (PASTIC) successfully concluded its Two-Day Training Workshop on “Research Tools & Techniques Using SPSS” held from October 23–24, 2025, at the PASTIC National Centre, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Campus, Islamabad.


The 57th batch of the SPSS Training Workshop brought together 30 participants from various universities and organizations across Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Attendees represented a wide range of academic disciplines including Zoology, Biochemistry, Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, and Media Studies, from institutions such as QAU, CUST, IIU, PIDE, and NUST.


The workshop featured interactive, hands-on sessions designed to help participants practically apply statistical tests and data analysis techniques in their research. Participants gained valuable insights into data handling, interpretation, and the effective use of SPSS software, strengthening their research and analytical capabilities.


Speaking on the occasion, Director General, PASTIC, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram Shaikh, highlighted the significance of such training programs, stating:
