ISLAMABAD, November 27, 2025 — The Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre (PASTIC) National Center, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Campus, Islamabad successfully conducted a hybrid training webinar titled “Data Analysis with SPSS” on 27th November 2025.
The session was attended by approximately 46–50 participants from various universities and organizations across the country. Participants represented a diverse range of universities and organizations, including Quaid-i-Azam University, Kohsar University, University of Karachi, CUST, BMU, Sindh Education Department, SSH Telecom SMC Pvt. Ltd., Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Faisalabad Medical College, UIT University, Riphah International University, National Defence University, GIKI, KFUEIT, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Higher Education Department Punjab, BZU, Tianjin University, MUST, BUITEMS, NIH, Minhaj University, and others.
The webinar provided an essential introduction to Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), equipping participants with practical knowledge in basic data handling, descriptive statistics, and fundamental analytical techniques. The training aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding of data analysis processes widely used in academic and professional research settings.
This initiative reflects PASTIC’s ongoing commitment to capacity building, offering researchers and students hands-on learning opportunities to enhance their analytical skills.
